Join us for the closing reception of Loretta Park’s “SLIP N’ SLIDE,” an installation inside the shipping container gallery at The Station.
Loretta Park, Haley Wood, and friends will host a fiber arts making gathering! Bring whatever project you’re working on — crocheting, knitting, and/or friendship bracelet making. Haley will help beginners learn to punch needle!

About the artists:
Loretta Park is a visual artist and holds an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a BA from Bowdoin College. She creates abstract works that bounce between painting and sculpture. Her work has been exhibited at Praise Shadows Art Gallery, Boston, MA (2022), Dimensions Variable, Miami, FL (2021-22), The Umbrella Arts Center, Concord, MA (2021), Shelter In Place Gallery, Boston, MA (2020); New System Exhibitions, Portland, ME (2019); Ray Gallery, Brooklyn (2018), Society of Arts and Crafts, Boston, MA (2017); and Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Rockland, ME (2017). Haley Wood is a fiber artist living in Allston, Massachusetts. She has shown her work at the Abigail Ogilvy Gallery in Boston, the 2023 MassArt Auction, and the 2021 SPRING/BREAK Art Fair in NYC.
