2024 Benefit Art Sale

Support the future of Boston Art Review with the purchase of framed artworks by leading Boston artists. All proceeds will go toward our writer fund.

Feature by BAR Editorial

Jo Ann Rothschild, The Right Now Forever, 2023 Mixed media on paper Image: 22” x 30”; Framed: 33 7/5" x 26" Courtesy of the artist.

Proceeds from our annual benefit art sale support our writer fund—a fund we’ve dedicated to supporting writers and editors from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. In supporting writers directly, we support our arts ecosystem. More writers means more (thoughtful) press, more press means more discourse, and more discourse means that artists, galleries, community spaces, and cultural organizations are able to expand their reach, impact, and legacies.

The artwork in this sale was donated by artists and galleries who have been featured in Boston Art Review. We’re so grateful for their support and their belief in the importance of independent arts criticism and publishing.

Participating artists include: Clint Baclawski, Sarah Meyers Brent / Chase Young Gallery, Katarina Burin, Cicely Carew / art_works, Silvia López Chavez, Jamieson Edson, Maya Erdelyi, Tory Fair, Michelle Grabner / Drive-by Projects, Katrine Hildebrandt-Hussey, Lucy Kim, Napoleon Jones-Henderson, Yuri Shimojo, Crystalle Lacouture / Praise Shadows, Neeta Madahar / Anderson Yezerski Gallery, S. Billie Mandle, Alex McClay / Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, Jo Ann Rothschild, Sneha Shrestha (IMAGINE) / art_works, Gabriel Sosa, Joe Wardwell / LaMontagne Gallery, Yu-Wen Wu, and Michael Zachary.

Framing was generously provided by Around The Corner located at 645 Tremont Street.
