Ngoc-Tran Vu and the Creative Entrepreneur Fellows

Ngoc-Tran Vu is a Vietnamese multimedia artist, cultural organizer, and storyteller based in Dorchester. Her work is rooted in memory, diaspora, healing, and community power, often bridging art, public history, and social justice. Through photography, painting, sculpture, installation, and community-engaged practice, she creates spaces for intergenerational reflection, belonging, and collective care. She leads the 1975: A Vietnamese Diaspora Memorial, a community-driven public art and memory project honoring Vietnamese diaspora and refugee narrative.

This tribute was developed with thoughtful feedback from members of the Creative Entrepreneur Fellowship, a professional development experience administered by the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston, that supports artists and creative leaders in strengthening the business, strategy, and sustainability of our creative practices. Special thanks to Bithyah Israel, Daniel Callahan, Jamaal Eversley, Stephanie McKay, U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo, and Jim Grace of the Arts & Business Council for their guidance.
